How to protect the gate motor before the rainstorm?
For buried gate openers, if the gate is closed and there is no electric lock, the gate should be opened (if possible, fix the gate with a heavy object to prevent shaking), then the control box of the motor should be powered off . After the typhoon and the weather are clear, open the cover of the buried box to see if there is water inside. If there is water, you should dredge the drainage pipe of it, and then turn on the power after the water is drained. If the drainage is smooth, then the electricity can be powered on directly.
For arm articulated type and crank arm type motors, if the gate is not very large, then there is no need to open the gate. If the terrain is relatively low, it is also necessary to cut off the power to prevent water from entering the motor;
For the roller type eight-character gate opener, because of the locking structure, it is generally not necessary to open the gate. If the terrain is really low, the plug of the control box should also be unplugged. After the typhoon, the cover of the wheeled door opener should also be opened , to see if the small board inside the motor is soaked in water, if not, the motor can be used;
As a special reminder, for the gate that is completely sealed, for the gate installed in the sealing position, it must be fixed well, and do not let the door shake back and forth to avoid damage to the door body!
